Those who are waiting on class dates have all been matched and will receive a training RIP next week. AFPC just emailed out the assignment vacancy mini cycle list this morning. Please email our org box if you have any questions or concerns.

Attention Fall DSD:

Most assignments should be loaded in the system. There are a couple that need to be tweaked. Most CONUS had their RNLTDs adjusted to Feb 2024.

For those in the Fall DSD waiting on assignments, please read below from Mr. Schloemer:

Folks,

I just wanted to give you an assignment update. It turns out the assignment budget issue that you have probably heard about is impacting the assignments being approved. What normally took a few days has taken a month now. This is because they have to be approved at a higher level.

I anticipate all of these to be approved, although some RNLTDs might get moved back to Jan 2024, instead of the normal 60-90 days after your class graduation date. Any member coming from overseas and going to class enroute PCS should not be impacted. Others might be.

Attention DSD nominees:

We've received questions regarding the SWAP program...please read below from AFPC:

This program does not include DSD/SDI assignments. IAW AFPC/Assignment Policy, members who are "soft" matched/selected for DSD will not be considered for the SWAP assignment program as our programs is selectively manned IAW para 5.3 of the attached PSDG. All DSD positions are specifically matched based on the requirements for each AFSC.

Attention Fall DSD cycle:

I know everyone is patiently waiting for an update, unfortunately, we’re still working on the final interview. Hopefully, we will have everything ready to go by this Friday. Again, we apologize for the delay as I know you’re eager to get the process going.

Attention Fall 22 Cycle, we are behind on emails, and working hard to catch up. If you have submitted your package by the deadline you will be notified once we have received / reviewed and hired you. For any one else please continue working on submitting your paperwork, we will submit another round of guess in the first of February. If you have 422 questions, please send in any supporting documentation that explains the 422 discrepancy and we will review.

Spring 22 cycle assignment update.

I know many of you are eager about the assignment listing, however due to the assignments getting pushed back for recruiters to move , we wont be able to identify which locations will be open for a little while longer. That said, anyone who has a class date in jan or feb should be getting an aissgnment list soon. Everyone going to class after feb should be in the next assignment list that hopefully will be out no later than early feb.

If you have a Feb class date and dont receive a list soon please let us know.
