It’s disheartening how often we see the same pattern. He could harm—and allegedly kill—his wife, but when it comes time to talk, silence is his defense. Cowardly. We wish Suzanne’s family strength and support; they’re fortunate to have public attention and coverage, something that has been far too limited for Cecilia’s case. But change is coming.
We also want to note that the arrest affidavit has been sealed for 30 days by order of Judge Escalona, per the County Magistrate Clerk. Transparency can be elusive in cases like these, but our hope is that justice will prevail and bring some peace to Suzanne’s loved ones.
