Today Capital Delivery celebrated the opening of the new Beacon Hill Dog Park, giving residents and their four-legged family members a dedicated space to play, connect, and enjoy the outdoors together. 🐕🐾

The new dog park includes separate off-leash areas for small and large dogs, picnic tables, dog drinking fountains, and convenient waste stations.

Construction Update from VIA Metropolitan Transit:

Segment 1 | Roosevelt Avenue – from Steves Avenue to Eagleland Drive.

🚌Location | Full intersection closure at South St. Mary’s Street and West Carolina Street/Eagleland Drive. As a result of road construction on Eagleland, traffic will be detoured in the area. Please be aware of the following:
--Use precaution when parking on Biering, Lotus and Claudia roadways, residents may want to park in their driveways as much as possible.
--General traffic flow will be directed in these streets to include 11’ wide buses regularly traveling. We want to make sure residents are aware for safety purposes.
--Posted No Parking signage will be enforced.
--Awareness for parking on the corners of the street (opposite way of the stop sign) to maintain bus turning radius.
--Scheduled Dates | Beginning May 28, scheduled through Aug. 12.

🚌Location | St. Mary’s Street onto Playmoor Street – turn access closed (detour).
