Under advisement of local authorities it is recommended we cancel the regular meeting of the Guadalupe County GOP executive Committee scheduled for 7pm TONIGHT. Heavy rain and serious flooding expected. Please try and stay off the roadways, turn around, don’t drown.

All Texas Republican Senate District (County) Conventions will be conducted Saturday, March 28, 2026 At the Justice Center in Seguin (211 W.Court Street).

Senate District 19 register at 9:00 AM

Senate District 21 register at 9:00 AM

Senate District 25 register at 12:00PM

This is your opportunity to introduce resolutions for consideration in the Republican Party of Texas’ Platform, and apply to be considered for a delegate spot at the Texas State Convention (June 11-13 in Houston).

(This meeting is required by Ch 172 of the Texas State Election Code to certify the results of the March 3, 2026 Primary)

NOTICE OF PRECINCT CONVENTIONS, GUADALUPE COUNTY

All Republican Precinct Conventions will be conducted this Saturday, March 7, 2026 At the Justice Center in Seguin (211 W.Court Street). No conventions will take place this evening when the polls close, the vote center format has made this practice obsolete!

HELP WANTED!

The Seguin Elections Office Needs Volunteers!

The Seguin Elections Office is looking for help with intake after polls close on Election Day.

🗓 Time: Starting at 6:45 PM until 10:00 PM (possibly as late as midnight)
👥 Positions Available: 9 people

📍 Duties Include:
Assisting with intake after polls close
Directing traffic outside
Taking equipment in and out
Carrying cases
✅ Requirements:
Must be a registered voter in Guadalupe County
Must complete an application in person (applications can be filled out tomorrow)

ELECTION REMINDER!
(And some thoughts from the County Chair)

Today is the first day of early voting for the March 3, 2026 Primary Election in Texas. Another election? Yes! I know many of you are confused by the number of recent elections, run-off elections, special elections, and special election run-offs! It is a lot - but the closer to “home” an election is, the more impact the results have on your daily lives. GO VOTE, pretty-please!

A very big part of your duty to vote includes your responsibility to be an informed voter. Yes, it is nearly a full-time job to w**d through the mountain of direct mail, flyers on your front door, and text messages on your phone! We strive to help you choose the right candidates by conducting events across the County where you can meet and question the candidates.

Here is my point: Don’t vote for candidates who campaign ugly. Vote for candidates whom you believe will work for you and improve your quality of life. Please don’t award your vote to a contestant who claims how bad “the other guy” is.

The Texas Election Code Chapter 258 established The Texas Code of Fair Campaign Practices. The Texas Code of Fair Campaign Practices is a voluntary, ethical pledge for candidates to run honest, respectful, and transparent campaigns. It commits individuals to avoiding personal attacks, slander, and voter intimidation, focusing instead on issues and records.

The minute you see “ugly” in that deluge of mail, calls, texts, and flyers - disqualify that candidate! Stop giving votes to candidates who disrespect us by disregarding the law.

Now what? Go get a copy of your sample ballot https://web.guadalupetx.gov/sb/SBlookup2.php Read it. Mark on it. Take it with you to the polls….you’re allowed.
