National Night Out is coming to Windcrest! 🚔🏡

Tuesday, October 6, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM will be an evening dedicated to strengthening the partnership between our community and the Windcrest Police Department.

National Night Out is an annual nationwide campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie. One of the most popular ways to participate is by hosting a block party and gathering with your neighbors.

If you're interested in organizing a block party for your street or neighborhood, be sure to register! Members of the Windcrest Police Department will make every effort to visit all registered events throughout the evening.

Register your block party today: https://www.windcrest-tx.gov/FormCenter/Police-7/National-Night-Out-2025-90 🎉

Let's come together to build safer, stronger, and more connected neighborhoods.

Sneak peek of some pretty great giveaways we have lined up for tomorrow's Fall Community Social!

Thanks to the generosity of H-E-B, we’ll be giving away two gift baskets during the event. And for another lucky winner, Mayor Dan Reese is donating two tickets to see The Sound of Music at the Majestic Theatre on October 10, 2026! 🎭

Also, Neighbors Helping Neighbors will be accepting book donations at the Community Social. Any book donations will benefit the Little Libraries throughout the city. 📚

Join us tomorrow, September 25, from 6:00–8:00 PM at the Windcrest Civic Center and stick around for Christmas with the Kranks at 8:00 PM. Don't forget your blankets and pillows for the movie!

We hope to see you there, and maybe one of these prizes will be going home with you! 🍂
