Former Miniature Railroad in Brackenridge Park San Antonio, Texas now operating as Brackenridge Park Train operated by San Antonio Zoo Huntington trains.
The Brackenridge Eagle Miniature Railroad started building operations in 1956 and officially open to the public June 14, 1957. Prior to grand opening we transported 35,000 riders during testing and other considerations. The first trains were 3 G-16 style trains and we transported 400,000 people the first year over 70% were adults. Ticket prices were at 25 cents and the train was over 1.5 miles tak
