After a couple attempts on some other pigs that didn't end in our favor, she was able to connect on this bad boy! Weighing just shy of 265lbs, this giant was no slouch. After eating a 285gr 8.6BLK round, he only made it about 45yds from where he originally stood!

Axis buck down!🔥

After sitting in the blind for the afternoon hunt and baking in the 100° Texas summer heat, we changed the game plan. Within the last few moments of daylight we spotted this buck standing in an opening scrapping up against a tree. Sun was going down quick as we drove around the ranch, but jackson was quicker! I told Jackson to get ready as I’m setting up the tripod for him. Within 20-30 seconds of initially spotting this buck, little man had him in the crosshairs and dropped him! Congratulations on your trophy Axis buck Jackson! Thank you Brett Crowell for your continued support and trusting us with your son!🙌🏼
