Thank you Chip Roy for fighting to repeal the Biden kill switch from going into every American vehicle! Any honest debate about curbing the government surveillance state must include repeal of the kill switch. Ford Motor Company just filed for a patent for this monitoring technology, it’s sweeping and can even stop you from driving if the sensors on the steering wheel or the cameras facing the driver think you’re not emotionally fit to drive!

There’s a reason why they changed the term from drunk driving to ‘impaired’ driving, so they could make it mean anything. It could be staring at an object too long, it can be turning your head to talk to the person next to you in your car in a way they think is inappropriate, and it can mean driving away in a panic if someone’s chasing you and you’re trying to flee a dangerous situation. They’re creating the technology to monitor your every move and cut power to your car if they find anything they determine makes you unfit to drive.

It’s a wrap! Great week in DC capped off with a visit to DOT to talk It’s time to focus on fixing our roads, cutting red tape and mandates causing skyrocketing car prices, slashing toll programs & more.

Another highlight of the week in DC was meeting with Thomas Massie our other hero, talked AVs & all things transportation with half a dozen more T&I Committee members and senators. Always good to work with our partners at Citizens for Renewing America with good friend Wade Miller!

Day 3 on the Hill included meetings with two more of our top champions defending our freedom to travel and who authored our bill. Met with Speaker Johnson’s staff for the first time, with our friends at Heritage Foundation and many T&I Committee members. Back over on the senate side tomorrow. We’re hitting it hard and won’t stop until we protect Americans from the relentless overreach both inside and outside our vehicles!

Day two in DC under our belt. Met with key transportation lawmakers (including Senator Ted Cruz), House Freedom Caucus staff, & ran into our HERO (who we’ll meet with later in the week) in the T&I Committee room. What a day! Fighting for travel freedom 24/7! Walked 6 miles across the Capitol meeting with officials all day.

On Capitol Hill today meeting with members of the T&I Committee, Senate EPW on grassroots transportation priorities (hint: rarely the same as the lobby). Grateful for our high quality meetings with staff of & ⁦‪‬⁩.
