Congratulations to the new 2026-2027 Drum Majors of The Clemens Band. We thank all who auditioned.

Our sincere condolences. Our thoughts and prayers are with both his students and family.

It is with a heavy heart that we share the news that one of our beloved band directors, Russell Barbee, passed away early Sunday morning, April 19, 2026, in a tragic car accident. Mr. Barbee positively impacted thousands of students and was a treasured part of our fine arts family.

He is survived by his beautiful wife, Stacey, and their two sons, Nathan and Jackson. Please keep them close in thought as they navigate this unprecedented and very difficult time.
