Thank you, Arizona Music Educators for the opportunity to present yesterday! It was great making new connections and talking with so many outstanding music educators this weekend!

I’m so grateful for the continued opportunities to learn, grow, and collaborate with incredible friends, colleagues, and students who inspire me every day on this journey as a music educator.

On Friday, I had the great privilege of presenting at the Wisconsin State Music Conference with my good friend, Scott Edgar. Friends: If you haven’t already explored the amazing work Scott is doing, I highly encourage you to check him out!

Together, we shared strategies for embedding social emotional learning into beginning and developing band programs- empowering students to feel more connected and motivated, while providing educators with tools to make music learning more meaningful and impactful for everyone involved.

Hello, everybody!

Since the 3rd Edition of Scale & Rhythm Chunks was released this past fall, the Chunks website and Chunks YouTube channel have been revamped. The website includes links to the instructional videos for each instrument book (thanks to all the amazing musicians that contributed), as well as great educational resources from Curtis Winters and Stepwise Publications.

I'm so thrilled to have collaborated with Patrick Sheridan, co-author of the *Emmy Award Winning* Breathing Gym® to create instructional videos showing how to use the Breathing Gym® within the Chunks program. These videos are incredibly informative and also a lot of fun.
