UPDATE: Alamo Heights Police Department reports she has been found safe.

Julie Straus, the wife of former Texas House Speaker Joe Straus, has reportedly gone missing from her home in Terrell Hills.

A silver alert was released by the department Thursday night, saying that Straus was last seen at 6:40 p.m. on Thursday in the 200 block of Geneseo Road.

Terrell Hills police released a notice Friday morning saying that they are looking for a 64-year-old, white female with black hair, wearing a black sweater, black leggings, black and white tennis shoes.

People who find her may call Terrell Hills police at 210-824-1009 or 210-420-7304, police said.
