A top-secret exercise conducted by the USAF Strategic Air Command during the Cold War—where planning, precision, and absolute secrecy defined every mission.
These high-stakes operations stood at the heart of America’s nuclear deterrence, representing true military history in action.

I have seen some of the most amazing shadow boxes that many of you have posted. Both of my boys have their own—one retired SMSGT and the other a Lt Col. Years ago, my wife put this together for our family, and it remains a cherished symbol of our Air Force heritage.
Our family proudly represents the Air Force across generations:
Daughter-in-law and Son-in-law
Both grandsons and a grandson’s wife
And now, our granddaughter’s husband has joined the family
I retired as a SMSGT, Weapons Systems, and I maintained the aircraft displayed at the top of this shadow box—the only one missing is the O-2A.
So many good memories, so much pride, and a lifetime of service reflected in one display.
🇺🇸✈️ Forever grateful for the legacy of service in our family.
