We had a wonderful Seahawk Start yesterday as students and parents came together to share breakfast and enjoy some friendly board game fun.

Honored to have been awarded a PTSA grant! Thank you for supporting our school library and the work we do for students every day.

Loved getting to team up with Wes Ryan today to lead a PD on Gemini Gems! We explored strategies, shared examples, and had some awesome conversations about how these tools can make teaching easier and learning stronger. Our teachers are amazing! 💙📘

🎲 Our First Seahawk Start! Ms.Fernandez-Family Specialist, and I were excited for out first “Seahawk Start”,a fun parent-student program where parents and students come to school together to kick off the day with board games, laughter, and connection! After game time, parents stayed for a short session on a helpful topics while students headed to class.

It’s a great way to build community, strengthen family bonds, and start the morning with positive Seahawk energy! 🦅✨

I had the opportunity to be a part of the Veteran’s Day Committee and assist with co-planning our Veteran’s Day program. My part included the hospitality portion-picking up donated coffee for our veterans and setting up. With all of our planning and practice, our students did a beautiful job honoring our veterans today.

Our students showed amazing teamwork, communication, and sportsmanship at today’s eSports tournament. 🏆
So much skill and focus on display from Nimitz, Eisenhower, Bradley, Wood, and White MS. Way to go!

Students were busy exploring and learning! They rotated through stations using News-O-Matic, Britannica, and BrainPOP to dig into information and build their skills. 📚💻

8th grade STEM learning is in full swing! 💡 Students are rotating through stations in the library to analyze text structures, text features, and author’s purpose — building strong reading and critical thinking skills!
