From a flat sketch to a fully formed creation!
Geometry teacher Mr. Gonzales first sketched the idea on paper, and one of our students brought it to life by designing the model for 3D printing. The result? Spinning 3D drill bits that demonstrate geometric shapes like cones and cylinders in a hands-on, interactive way.
A great example of collaboration in action—turning a 2D idea into something students can see, touch, and explore!

The LEE Library enjoyed hosting author Marcia Argueta Mickelson for a visit with our NESA Creative Writing students to discuss her new book, The Writing Room. Students learned about her writing process and participated in a writing workshop, sharing their own work.
Culinary students also hosted a Guatemalan lunch, connecting the novel’s cultural background to the experience. A great afternoon of literature, culture, and student learning!
