Tinnitus is one of the most common disabilities in veterans. 10% is the highest rating you can obtain for tinnitus alone.
However, this disability often causes secondary conditions that are eligible for ratings.
Here are a few of them;
- headaches/migraines
- sleep apnea
- depression
- anxiety

Twenty years ago, our country was shaken by the tragic events that took place in New York.
Twenty years ago, eager patriots rushed to enlist in the armed forces to help prevent such events from ever taking place on American soil again. This year, they will be able to retire.
We want to take a moment to thank all first responders, civilians that risked their lives for those in need, and our service members.
For those mourning the loss of their loved ones who tragically perished due to the terrorist attacks in New York, our hearts are with you and we give our condolences.
Take a moment to remember how blessed you are to be breathing today. To be grateful for the moment you are in right at this moment.

The answer is YES. You can still work if you are at 100% and 100% Permanent and Total. The only way you will not be able to work would be if you were awarded 100% through total disability based on individual unemployability (TDIU).
