Our objective is to increase community awareness and participation. To elevate our position as as citizens, not just observers

Coalition for Community Evolution's Shop 03/14/2026

A few people have already registered, which is encouraging.

We’re intentionally keeping the first salon small — 12 participants total — so the conversation can stay structured and productive.

If you're someone who values thoughtful civic discussion rather than online arguments, you’d probably enjoy this room.

Big Step for CCE Today 🌿

We secured our liability insurance.

That might not sound flashy — but it matters.

It means:

✔ Our volunteers are protected
✔ Our events are protected
✔ Our partners are protected
✔ Our organization is operating responsibly

If we’re going to ask people to show up, serve, and build something meaningful — we owe them structure and accountability.

Between Green Corridor engagement, community programming, and upcoming salons, this was a necessary step.

We’re not just talking about Elevation.

We’re building it — the right way.

Thank you to everyone who believes in long-term, disciplined community work.

🎤 CCE Spoken Word Showcase

San Diego Artists – Submissions Open for 26 September

The Coalition for Community Elevation (CCE) is hosting a Spoken Word Showcase on 26 September, and we’re inviting local San Diego artists to share their voice.

This evening is about story, perspective, and lived experience.

We’re looking for original spoken word that explores themes like:

• Community
• Identity
• Growth
• Healing
• Resilience
• Civic life

We will select 3 local artists to feature during the event.

🎥 How to Submit

• 2–3 minute video clip (original work only)
• Clear audio and visible performance
• Send via DM or email [email protected]

⏳ Submission Deadline: 15 March 2026
We will review up to 12 submissions.

Selected artists will receive:

• An 8–10 minute live feature set
• Promotion across CCE platforms
• A thoughtful, engaged audience

This is a curated showcase designed to uplift voices and build connection — not a competition, and not an open mic.

If your words speak to where we are and where we’re going, we’d love to hear from you.

The Sweetwater Community Garden needs 2 steady hands.

Not a crowd.
Not once-a-year helpers.

Two people willing to:
• Show up consistently
• Help maintain beds
• Support youth engagement
• Build something visible and lasting

Before we debate policy, we grow food.

If that speaks to you, message me.
