Join us for our monthly club meeting on Nov. 20 to hear from candidates and to vote on endorsements in Assembly District 75 and Senate District 40. These districts cover vast parts of East County and other communities and are currently represented by Republican incumbents.

The Republican-led Grossmont Union High School District Board plans to approve layoffs of 61 employees, including all librarians and other key teaching roles. This is after they cut 53 positions just last year!

Here’s what you can do to fight back!
🗣️ Speak against these layoffs at the meeting. The meeting starts at 4:30 p.m., but arrive early to submit a speaker card. The agenda says they’ll limit public comment to just 30 minutes total.
🪧 Attend the meeting in solidarity with teachers, staff, and fellow supporters. The teachers union is encouraging supporters to wear black shirts.
