"Ombudsmen are the Lighthouses for Navy Families"
If you have any questions, please email [email protected] or send us a private message and we will get back to you. The purpose of this page is to share events and resources which will keep families of the Kidd informed and independent. An Ombudsman is a volunteer appointed by a Commanding Officer to serve as a link between command lea
dership and command families. As the Ombudsmen for the USS KIDD, we are responsible for being a liaison between the Kidd families and the command by securing an open line of communication. -ALL suspected child abuse and neglect
-Alleged domestic abuse
-Suspected and/or potential homicides, violence, or life-endangering situations
-All suspected and/or potential suicidal risks
-All alleged sexual violence
-Anything deemed reportable by the Commanding Officer
