As we gear up for our 15th Annual Chula Vista Firefighter’s Foundation Easter Egg Hunt next weekend, we’re reminded just how special this community truly is.

While picking up some of the very popular stuffed bunnies for this year’s hunt (yes… we stocked up because we know how much the kids love them 🐰), a kind stranger approached us at checkout and surprised us with a $50 Michael’s gift card to help with the cost.

We were completely blown away by the generosity and heart behind such a simple, thoughtful gesture. 💛

Moments like this are what make this event so meaningful year after year—not just for the kids running across the field, but for all of us who get to be part of something bigger.

A huge thank you to this amazing community member, and to Michael’s for helping us stretch every dollar a little further.
