Hello SLiM family. In order to reach more of our brothers and sisters needing support in their recovery or to start their path of recovery we have started a SLiM group as well. The group is linked to this page so if you'd like to join just go to the groups and click on the tab. It will take you directly to the group or you can search Sober Life in the Military (SLiM).
Hope to see old and new faces there.

SLiM meetings will reconvene next week on 7 June!
Tomorrow is a day dedicated to remembering our fallen. This weekend also unofficially kicks-off the Summer Season. We understand the redundancy of "Don't Drink and Drive", and "Keep What You've Earned". These are phrases to be taken seriously, however, if you are to remember anything this summer, please know there is always someone to call when in a tough spot. Whether it is an Uber, a friend, a co-worker... If you did not make a plan ahead of time, make a plan before time runs out. Things happen and not all events go accordingly.
Also, the reverse scenario is just as vital: answer the call. Be the hero you have preached about. Life is too precious.
Hope to see you Wednesday.
Hello! SLiM meetings are back starting tomorrow (5/17)! We will be recapping chapter two in the "12 Stupid Things.." book and jumping right into chapter three.

Here at SLiM, we understand that not everyone who attends SARP is an alcoholic and/or addict; but there are underlying reasons and circumstances as to why they were recommended.

Allen Berger, PhD, is a popular public speaker and nationally recognized expert on the science of recovery- for he is also in recovery.
You can purchase this book (digitally and/or hard copy) or attend our next meeting to read along with us! We reconvene on 17 May!
