Good morning Blackjacks and Blackjack families. I am sure you all have seen the news this morning. Our Sailors are clear from the area and we have the best Navy in the world. As of now, we have no news to pass but will update as needed as the situation progresses. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to reach out and we will try to get you the answers.

We are thrilled to announce that we are launching a grant program for families to help with the cost of a meal on the day of an appointment, parking fees at the hospital, and/or gas to get to and from the hospital.

During the upcoming week, If the heat index rises above 85 degrees, the public can get relief from the heat at the following locations. (The Spreckels Center is closed on Sundays).

Caltrans maintenance crews will close the northbound State Route 75/San Diego-Coronado Bridge connector to northbound Interstate 5 (I-5) Thursday from 9-11 a.m. for attenuator repairs.

Motorists will be detoured to southbound I-5, exit at 28th Street/National Avenue and turn right onto National Avenue to northbound I-5.
