We officially launched Cohort 1 of the VEX EXP Robotics Club in Extended Learning at UDA last month!

Our first group of students has officially taken over the lab, opened up the toolkits, and started working with real-world robotics hardware. Over the next few weeks, this cohort will learn how to design and build custom robots, write original code, and work together to solve complex engineering challenges.

We are so proud of the curiosity and effort these students are bringing to our very first session, and we cannot wait to share their projects as their builds come to life!

At UDA, learning extends far beyond four walls. This is what UDA looks like and entails: creating moments outside the classroom that broaden our students’ horizons and spark new passions! 📺

A huge thank you to CBS8 for opening their Kearny Mesa studios to our scholars and families. Our students enjoyed a full studio tour and participated in a feature story celebrating free museum admission for local youth this October. Be sure to catch our UDA stars on CBS8 throughout the month!

Looking for the right school for your kiddo? We’d love to welcome you into our community! Join us for our Open House on Saturday, October 17th at 9 AM to see what makes UDA so special.

Our library is getting ready for our upcoming Book Fair!

A big thank you to our PVN parents for helping set everything up and getting our library ready for our students. Starting Monday, students and families will have the opportunity to stop by before and after school, and students will also visit the Book Fair with their classes during the school day.

We’re looking forward to seeing our students explore, discover new books, and hopefully find a few new favorites along the way!
