✨ Second Grade Field Trip Fun! ✨

Today our second graders took a short walk (just three blocks!) to Now or Never Comics 📚🎨

A huge thank you to Erin for hosting us and making the visit so special. Each student even received a free comic book! 🦸‍♂️🦸‍♀️

Mr. Garcia shared with his students that his very first reading experience was through comic books, and that’s what sparked his love of reading. He encourages them to read, read, read—and discover what inspires them as readers.

This year’s exhibition is all about superheroes—then, now, and in the future 💥
Students will be creating their own comic books, showcasing someone they see as a real-life hero.

We can’t wait to see their creativity shine! ✏️📖

San Diego Festival of Science and Engineering at Petco Park, with our students teaching visitors about electrical circuits using playdough and "squishy circuits". Come visit us in right field at booth RF11.

Open House (OH!) Tour of our 14th Street campus with the San Diego Architectural Foundation. Our student ambassadors will provide tours of our world class educational facility from 10am-4pm.

We’re excited to be part of the FREE Family Fun Fest and invite you to join us on Sunday, Feb. 22 from 10 AM–1 PM at the Kroc Center, located at 6845 University Ave., SD, 92115.

Free parking is available and admission is free. 🎉Families can enjoy a morning of hands-on fun including a zipline, inflatable obstacle course, bounce houses, themed crafts, along with the opportunity to connect with great local family resources. Be sure to stop by our booth to say hello!
