The Substance Use Overdose Prevention Taskforce works to diminish meth impacts through prevention, recovery and enforcement. www.suopt.org
The San Diego County Board of Supervisors authorized the multi-disciplinary Methamphetamine Strike Force in 1996. The Meth Strike Force includes 70-member organizations and agencies, including local, state, and federal representatives from public health, law enforcement, judiciary, education, treatment, prevention, and intervention agencies. It's goal is to significantly reduce and/or eradicate the scourge of meth production, sale and use through prevention, treatment and enforcement.
