At our latest All Hands Call, we recognized our FY24 2nd Quarter Sailor of the Quarter, BM2 Mejia.

Additionally, we pinned our newest Petty Officers: Aviation Maintenance Administration Third Class Richinette Youapou, and Logistics Specialist Third Class Daisy Balandra.

Today, our dedicated team from BEACHMASTER UNIT ONE gathered at Chula Vista American for a heartwarming community cleanup event.

Led by the Junior Enlisted Association, over 20 enthusiastic Sailors came together, united by a common goal: to prepare the fields for the upcoming all-star games this weekend. 🏅🏟️

Our team put in a tremendous effort, ensuring that the fields were ready to go for the coming weekend. We tackled a range of tasks, including blowing debris from the bleachers, pulling weeds, performing yard work, and bagging trash. This collective effort not only improved the appearance of the fields but also demonstrated our commitment to supporting and giving back to our community. 🌿🧹

These events are vital for several reasons. They help build camaraderie among Sailors, fostering a sense of unity and teamwork that extends beyond our daily duties. Moreover, our presence and hard work reflect our dedication to the community, strengthening the bond between the military and the public. It’s through actions like these that we show our gratitude and support for the communities that support us. 💪🤝

We are incredibly proud of our team’s hard work and the positive impact we have made. A big Hooyah to all the Beachmasters for their dedication and effort. And best of luck to Chula Vista American on your all-star games this weekend! 🎉⚾
