Digging this one out because she never got her moment—hundreds of Skin2Skin Everything Brushes, engraved in-studio.

With studio calligraphy engraving, you don’t get to see the delighted looks on people’s faces when they see their item has been personalized with their name engraved by hand, but what you do get? The actual visualization of all the custom engraved calligraphy lined up altogether to see the full scope of the work done.

I imagined all the hands that would hold these brushes, all the looks they would create and all the confidence and power that this tool, engraved with their name in calligraphy, would help bring them—and that’s a pretty magical thing ✨ .

One of my favorite ways to wow your guests is through a unique and special wedding favor—this is one of those fun moments where you can really insert some of the couple’s personality into the gift and also make it personalized for each guest to make the feel seen and appreciated.

Engraved whiskey stones with guest names or initials were displayed beautifully by the fabulous team as a fun discovery moment for guests to seek and find. Scroll through for some event photos and videos of the process!

Live on-site calligraphy with dip pen and ink—a return to my roots for this event, and a reminder to me of where this all started.

The process of dipping a metal nib into ink, then pressing down and lifting up, subtle movements to achieve thick downstrokes and hairline upstrokes—the careful crafting of letterforms and inking of considered messages—I often think whatever project I’m working on is my favorite, but really, it’s this.

🐍🧧👩🏻‍🎨 rang in the Lunar New Year with , painting all sorts of Chinese New Year symbols on their beautiful bottles. Their b&w branding made the best canvas for some fun 福 symbols, snakes, ingots and oranges.

Favorite CNY-specific request: a father requested a matching set of personalizations for his 3 daughters, each with their Chinese zodiac animal.

📣 San Diego Artists and Letterers! Come use your skills to support ’s mission to provide emergency relief to Asian American elders who have been impacted by the LA fires.

We’ll be decorating paper bags and writing notes to accompany culturally appropriate care packages that will be delivered to elders throughout LA. If you’ve followed Heart of Dinner’s journey, you know the passion and care behind their organization and the impact they’ve had in NYC. Let’s get them started with some beautiful bags and notes as they get started in our beautiful neighbor city dealing with incredible heaviness now.

Art supplies and materials will be provided (you’re welcome to bring/donate your own art supplies as well), along with more detailed instructions. Most immediate need for handwritten notes are in Korean, traditional Chinese, Tagalog, and Thai.

Spots are limited, DM to reserve your seat and for the address in Sorrento Valley (near Mira Mesa). Looking forward to seeing you there!

Wishing you a happy holidays, with so much gratitude and appreciation for the support throughout the years.

This will go down as one of my favorite events this season—serving so many military families was such a joy and honor, whether it was through personalizing ornaments for the kiddos, or engraving bottles for deployed troops yet to come home in the new year, or for retirees enjoying spending time with friends and loved ones.

However you’re celebrating this year, I hope you feel some peace, love and joy and take the time to rest and recharge, ready to welcome the new year. Happy Holidays!

There truly is no song without you—counting my biz blessings this szn with you all first. I’m so thankful for your continued support through the years.

When I jumped to make this business full time SIX years ago, I dreamed, hoped, yearned that my little hope of a business would flourish to what it is today. What I didn’t know was the amount of development and personal growth this path would bring forth, and for that, I’m so grateful.

I have so much gratitude for the lessons I’ve learned, the professional and personal relationships I’ve developed, and the growth from feeling anxious and living with a scarcity mindset to trusting that the work that I put in will yield bountiful blessings.
