Youth Voice San Diego
Youth Voice is a leadership program for inner city youth who want to make a positive impact in their communities.
Youth Voice, initiated October 16, 2008, is a drop-in leadership program held at the Mid-City Police Station twice weekly. Law enforcement and community based organizations partner with the goal of providing youth ages 12 to 20, with meaningful support and opportunities to positively impact their leadership development. We focus on Connection to Self, Connection to Others, Connection to Community, and Connection to Law Enforcement.
Youth Voice is presently in transition with expanding our Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with collaborative partners. Please know we'll share more information once the MOU is finalized. Thank you for your gracious patience.
We are eternally grateful for the San Diego Police Department's dedicated commitment with Youth Voice since 2008, and most especially, the Mid-City Police Division and all the Captains over the last decade who continue to support our youth leaders in Youth Voice.
Please know Youth Voice will NOT be meeting on Thursday, July 26th. Thank you for noting your calendars respectively. And thank you, to each of you, for your steadfast commitment and dedication with our Youth Voice leaders.
Youth Voice will NOT be meeting on Thursday, June 28th or Thursday, July 5th. Out of respect for your time, thank you for noting on your calendars respectively.
Thank you to each of you who have steadfastly supported Youth Voice over the last (almost) ten years. We're deeply grateful of your commitment with our youth leaders in our multi-generational model.
