Born - February 6 1945 – May 11 1981

The Greatest Reggae, Revolutionary, Rastafarian god of all times! A brilliant ghetto rebel, a political outspoken soldier...Bob Marley was a member of the Rastafarian Movement, whose culture was a key element in the development of reggae and spirituality spreading positivity true messages threw his music...Starting out in 1963 with a group named the Wailers, his unique songwriting and vocal style that would later reach audiences worldwide. The Wailers would go on to release some of the earliest reggae records with producer Lee.

After the Wailers separation in 1974, Marley pursued a solo career upon his relocation to England that culminated in the release of the album “Exodus” from the Bible in 1977, which established his worldwide reputation of truth and elevated his status as one of the world's best-selling revolutionary artists of all time, with sales of more than 75 million records. Who Is Chaka Khan?

A Freedom Fighter! A Popular musician and performer! A revolutionary! Chaka Khan was a member of the Black Panther Party. Born in 1953 as Yvette Marie Stevens, she joined the Chicago chapter of the Party in 1969 and worked with the Free Breakfast Program. During this time, she took on a new name, Chaka Adunne Aduffe Yemoja Hodarhi Karifi, and dropped out of high school. In the 1970s, she began to focus on her music career, joining the R&B and funk band, Rufus. The band was later renamed Rufus and Chaka, before Chaka Khan began her career as a successful solo artist and supporter of the Black Community in the 1980s.
