Recruiters School is home to three seperate courses:
Basic Recruiter Course (BRC)
Career Recruiter Course (CRC)
Career Planner Course (CPC)
Recruiters School is a formal school charged with screening and training entry and career level Marine Corps enlisted personnel assigned to recruiting duty and career planner duties. All of the procedures, required actions and guidance contained within the standing operating procedures (SOP) are intended to maximize the effectiveness and efficiency of personnel assigned to Recruiters School to accomplish the assigned mission.

This week Basic Recruiters Course students were afforded the opportunity to visit the MCRD San Diego Command Museum. Major galleries toured were WWI, WWII, the Vietnam War, and Forward Deployed Gallery such as Operation Desert Shield/Storm and Global war on Terror. Special thanks to all museum staff for motivating, educating and inspiring the future of MCRC.

Chief Instructor Master Gunnery Sergeant Bell and MCPK Course Head Gunnery Sergeant Leal spent the last week educating the Marine Corps Museum Foundation on Presentation Skills and Marine Corps Communication and Consulting (MC3).
Since its founding on April 29, 1988, the MCRD Museum Foundation, originally formed as the MCRD Museum Historical Society, has had the mission to promote the legacy of the Marine Corps through historic preservation and conservation, free education programs, and community outreach initiatives that enrich the lives of Marines, sailors, and the communities they serve.

Marine Corps Recruiters School hosted a change of command and retirement ceremony Friday, June 10, 2022. Major Gregg Petrisevac relinquished command of Recruiters School to Major Justin M. Carrasco after serving as director since June 2020. ��Petrisevac served as director for two years and retired from active duty after more than 25 years of active-duty service. He was awarded the Meritorious Service Medal for his outstanding meritorious achievement, sacrifice, and dedication. The staff of Marine Corps Recruiters School would like to thank Major Petrisevac for his leadership, inspiration, and wish him the best of luck on his future endeavors. S/F
