MSRON THREE’s Panama Detachment, currently deployed to assist in security operations for US assets in the Panama Canal, had the honor and privilege to meet with Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth.

This visit highlighted MSRON THREEs commitment to excellence and our readiness to answer the call amidst ever-changing global circumstances.

MAC Billy Young was presented the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation medal for his outstanding achievements and dedication to training MSRON THREE for battle. Now we stand beside him as he fights his hardest battle to date.

The bedrock of every resilient service member is the support of their family and friends. We were honored to recently bring our loved ones together, offering a unique glimpse into what we do every day. This special occasion included wonderful food, exciting activities, and the rare chance for our Sailors to share their experiences with their families while underway.

GM2 Chambers made the most of this rare opportunity, choosing to reenlist while underway with his family in the “gun tub” of one of our 40-foot patrol boats.
