Recently Blackjacks operating from Pt Mugu executed the first flight hours of the MQ-8C at HSC-21. This is a huge step forward for the squadron, Naval Aviation, and is the next step forward in an exciting time for Unmanned systems!

Today, Blackjacks from the HSC-21 Fire Scout shop executed the first ground turn of our new MQ-8C.

These ground turns are the first step to qualifying new GMVOs, an essential part of deploying ready Dets for our future LCS deployments.

Yesterday afternoon Skipper Adams had the pleasure of awarding 5 Navy Achievement Medals, announced our Sailors of the Quarter (FY22Q3), recognized 1 Safety Pro and highlighted our newest qualified Plane Captains! Bravo Zulu to all of these Blackjacks
