Join us on Thursday, October 22 at 10:30 a.m. for Emergency Preparedness Storytime. Families will learn important safety skills in a hands-on, kid‑friendly way. The San Diego CERT Team will read emergency-themed books, the Fire Safe Council will guide a special craft, and our local Park Ranger will host a table on how to build an emergency “go bag.” Families will get to take home their own mini emergency kits and chat with local emergency experts about how to stay ready and resilient.

The Grossmont Healthcare District's Health and Wellness Mobile Outreach Library offers free, reliable, and authoritative health information in the form of print books, pamphlets, e-books, e-magazines, digital databases, DVDs, anatomical models, and more. A library staff member will be available to accept research requests, sign up GHD Health & Wellness Library cards, offer blood pressure self-checks, and pick up and drop off GHD Health & Wellness Library books. All of these amazing services will be available at Pine Valley Library on Tuesday, September 22 at 3 p.m.
