Yesterday we held a signing ceremony for the agreement between City of Chula Vista and San Diego State University for their new School of Nursing that will be located at Millennia Library.

This will be the first 4-year degree programs offered in South Bay and I can't wait to welcome the first class of students. This is huge for South San Diego and our region.

Yesterday I was sworn in for a new term as Assemblymember for the 80th District. It's a privilege to serve the community I grew up in and where I am raising my family. Thank you to residents of the 80th.
