Thank you to the San Ysidro Community Collaborative for inviting CALI – Connections for Adults Living Independently to present and share our services with community professionals and partners.

Martha Flores, Community Outreach Worker, had the opportunity to discuss how CALI supports independence and empowers disabled adults living with intellectual disabilities to maximize their full potential in the home environment in San Diego County.

We truly appreciate SYCC’s commitment to bringing organizations together and helping strengthen community-level support and collaboration. Together, we can continue building stronger connections and improving access to services for those who need them most.

Starting off the month with connection, movement, and community!

Today, Martha Flores one of our outreach workers had the opportunity to attend a disability-inclusive Zumba class in Ramona, proudly representing our agency. The energy in the room was incredible—full of movement, joy, and connection. It was a powerful reminder that wellness and community belong to everyone.

We’re grateful to be welcomed into spaces that celebrate inclusion, and we look forward to continuing to support and uplift programs like this.

CALI was honored to support the community at Bonita Middle School in celebration of Autism Awareness Month!

We extend our sincere thanks to Bonita Middle School for inviting us to be part of such an important event. CALI's very own Martha Rañón - Executive Vice President, attended the event and recognized it as a wonderful opportunity to connect, share resources, and celebrate inclusion together.

April is Autism Awareness Month—a time to promote understanding, acceptance, and support for individuals on the autism spectrum and their families. At CALI, we are committed to providing compassionate supported living services that empower individuals to thrive in their lives and communities.

If you or someone you know could benefit from our services, we encourage you to reach out and learn more about how we can help.

In the “National Snapshot of Adults with Intellectual Disabilities in the Labor Force” report, it was found that less than one out of every two working age adults with an intellectual disability is in the labor force. This is compared to 83% of working-age adults without disabilities.
