Our friend Luna is headed into transplant tomorrow!! This strong little warrior has been such an inspiration. She is so positive. She’s already shaved her head ❤️ and I know she’s going to handle this whole transplant thing like a champ! Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers through the next few months. She was diagnosed with Neutropenia at just a few days old like JJ and is finally going to be able to live a normal life so soon! 💜💜💜

Hello everyone!!!
We are just leaving JJ’s ONE YEAR TRANSPLANT CHECK UP!!! Whatttttt!!
JJ is doing absolutely fabulous as we have worked so hard to get him where he is today we are not ready to risk throwing it all away this flu season. Per doctors orders we have to ask our friends and family one more time to please please please get your flu shot this year. Not only to prefect yourself but also JJ.
Thank you again for everyone’s love and support through this crazy journey of ours! ❤️
One year ago today, prior to surgery!

On this day last year, we were pretty sleepless and had to wake up early to be in the city to take the first big step towards transplant. JJ got his central line placed and it was the start of our journey... JJ started this week last year with a fresh hair cut, cake pops, the longest baths ever and spending his last evening with his best friend Kenzie ❤️ he handled getting his line placed the next day like a champ and was all smiles again shortly after surgery and we soon learned he would handle everything in the same matter! He may not know it now but I hope one day soon he knows that he is my hero! 💙

Hello everyone!!!
As we just celebrated one year since our event for I wanted to follow up with an update. I know I have totally dropped the ball on updates since being home. Life has been fabulous but oh so crazy busy!
JJ is 19 months now! 😩 where has the time gone!? The last 6 months have been smooth, he was released off isolation just THREE short months post transplant! 😃 he exceeded all of the doctors expectations but of course we were not so surprised but how amazing he had done! He has been off all medications and living a total normal life since March!!!! He’s thriving, growing so fast and is so smart! We couldn’t be more blessed ❤️
He loves camping, boating, eating of course! He loves hanging out with all of his friends and cousins! He is the most happy in the water! He’s talking and full of personality.
The most common question asked is... “what’s next” and we are so lucky to inform people that preschool is next!
As of joining be the match wasn’t easy enough, they have made joining the registry even easier!

I know that i have totally dropped the ball on updates but this little now ONE year old has had us very very busy!
Day 64 post transplant
Day 36 AT HOME!!!!
His journey has continued to be smooth, til last week. JJ got a minor rash on his arms and legs. Still not sure what is causing is but we have an appointment to see dermatology on Monday. Counts have been good but did drop as of Wednesday. Which could be related to the skin thing. Great news is, they are saying it’s not GVHD. THANK GODDESS!
JJ celebrated his first birthday Sunday and we are so lucky to have such amazing people in our lives!
Jj continues to amaze us daily, he’s taken his first steps, saying a few more words and is so dang smart trying to take things apart and put them back together. It’s truly amazing to watch him grow.
Mama has returned to work, I’ve learned I’m not cut out to be a stay at home mom lol butttt maybe if we were able to leave the house i could probably be a little better at it 🤪
As the holidays are now here we have learned a new meaning to them. We are so lucky and blessed to have Jj as our boy. Not only did he need us as parents, we needed him! 💙
We thank everyone for your unconditional love and support
