I had a former student, Imokhai Okolo, visit my employment discrimination law class. Imokhai won the first case to go to a full hearing before the Akron Civil Rights Commission. It was a hair discrimination case under Akron's Crown Act legislation.

Was invited by the Notorious Professor Lee to come and speak to his employment discrimination class at Akron Law about the work I do in the civil rights space. I’m always grateful to be able to share, reflect, and encourage law students to chart their own path in this profession that is in alignment with their values and perspective on the world we live in.
