Rooted in Oaxacan folk art and brought to life in the heart of the city, these fantastical sculptures will be on display through from August 12 to September 28. Want to see them sooner? Check out the eight mesmerizing alebrijes, towering 20 to 22 feet tall, that are on public display in Plaza de César Chávez now until September 28! They light up downtown at night like never before!

Traveling from Oaxaca, Mexico, the alebrijes are vibrant, mythical creatures that honor the richness of Mexican heritage through bold design and masterful craftsmanship. 🇲🇽 Thank you to , San José Downtown Association , and community partners for sponsoring this breathtaking public art installation.
