The Feral Cat Colony

Since we moved in to our new apartment 8 months ago, Hoppy and I have slowly developed a much needed bond. He went from being super skiddish, to somewhat weary, to curious, and eventually started letting me pet him (but only with food present). Eventually he started coming to me just for pets, ignoring all the treats I lay out for him.

Last night I rearranged our patio seating and by the evening, this little guy decided to come take a snooze while I kept watch for him. I mean, Alpha duties don’t do themselves! I was tired already but this was the first time he did that so I stayed and let him get some rest.
