Jared's story of reuniting with his son was made possible in large part because his son's foster parents committed to the process in a way that was loving, child-centered, and protective of Jared's relationship with his son. Our recent Quality Parenting Initiative symposium illuminated how important it is to preserve these relationships so that youth can thrive.
