Woods rescues, rehabilitates, and rehomes thousands of animals each year with adoption centers in San Luis Obispo and Atascadero. Other programs include affordable spay/neuter, humane education, and dog behavior training.

“Hey there, friends! I'm Zorro, a four-year-old Chow Chow mix with lots of stylish fluff, personality, and a truly impressive ability to cross my paws. I'm house-trained, crate-trained, and ready to bring both good manners and main-character energy to my new home.

I'm an energetic, affectionate guy who loves spending time with my human friends. Training games are one of my favorite ways to show off my brains, and I'm always up for a long walk where I can investigate every very important smell along the way. Afterward, I'll happily trade adventure time for plenty of pets and a few kisses 🐾

I prefer a home where I can be the star of the show, since cats and most other dogs aren't really my crowd- but humans? You're absolutely my favorite. If you're looking for a fluffy, clever, loving sidekick who will keep life fun and make you smile every day, I might be your guy.

I am a sweet cat who prefers to be the only cat in the home. What can I say, I prefer all the attention to be on me 😻 Naps and pets are what I'm about, but I do like to shake things up with wandering around meowing at you for attention...ZZzzz...oh, sorry! Hey-o, it's me, Cosmo! 🐾 I'm a 1 year old male Chihuahua that came to Woods as a transfer from another shelter, and I'm ready to start my next adventure! Woods has been GREAT to me, but of course, I'd love to spend my nights cuddling with a sweet family to call my own. I might need some time to get used to new friends at first, human and canine alike, but with some time I'll fit right in! 🤩

Hi there! My name is Ricky and I'm a big, friendly 1 year old male kitty who absolutely adores people! I'm typically easy-going and really enjoy just hanging out while you pet me. I like playing with a feather toy and get along well with other cats. I'm a lover like that!! I've lived with another cat and would be great for just about any family.
