Something found in a bowl.
Two kids leaning in to look at the same thing.
A smile that says I think we just became friends.

Nature has a way of doing this quietly and quickly. No forced ice breakers. No assigned partners. Just a shared discovery and suddenly two strangers are a team.

Nature Rangers Afterschool Programs pick your child up from school and head straight outside for nature exploration, hands-on learning, outdoor games, and time to just be kids.

🏫 MUS — Mon, Wed, Thu · Aug 24 to Dec 17
🏫 Foothill — Tuesday · Sep 1 to Dec 15

🏫 IV Elementary — Tuesday · Sep 8 to Dec 8
TK through 6th grade depending on location.

📵 Less screen time — too much limits movement, creativity, and real-world discovery.
🌳 More outdoor play — without it, kids miss crucial chances to build confidence, coordination, and curiosity.
🐢 Slower exploration — rushing adventures takes away the joy of observing and discovering at their own pace.
🤝 Connected play — kids need shared experiences to build real friendships and teamwork.

Nature Rangers Homeschool Program is a weekly outdoor learning experience for elementary-aged kids across Santa Barbara, Goleta, Carpinteria, and Ojai. Real learning. Real nature. Real kids.

Every session brings together nature exploration, hands-on science, outdoor skills, creative projects, and a genuine homeschool community where kids find their people and families find theirs.

Explore local trails and ecosystems.
Investigate and experiment through real experiences.
Build confidence and practical outdoor skills.
Create, express, and bring learning to life in nature.
Starting in September.
