Sierra County rancher Dee Wear was a strong advocate for southern New Mexico’s ranching community during U.S. Department of Agriculture Brooke Rollins’ visit to the Columbus Port of Entry. We appreciate Dee & Sec Rollins dedication to standing up for our ranching families and protecting an industry vital to our state!

Do you think New Mexico State Legislators should get a 67,000% RAISE??

We don’t either. Especially not until our state improves from being last in everything good and #1 in the worst categories.

I have had long talks with many people who have lost their loved ones to the poisons pushed by drug dealers on the streets. I am honored to partner with Bernalillo County leaders, County Commissioners, and Sheriff John Allen. They announced a proposed emergency declaration to address the fentanyl crisis, emphasizing the need for urgent, coordinated action to save lives, expand treatment, strengthen recovery efforts, and improve public safety. I support this 100% and will push for tougher legislation once again for tougher laws for drug dealers who kill.
Together, we can build a healthier, safer community.
I want to thank Francisco Delgado for his inspiring story, a person with lived experience with eight years sober, also participated in the news conference.
