Well, yes, we have the palm trees!! But, we will have to wait until Friday for the 80 degrees...

Brrr 53 degrees already! No, we aren't experiencing arctic colds or blizzards here on Siesta Key, but the winds are picking up and temps will be below freezing later! So stay warm, and bring your plants and animals inside, it's gonna be a chilly one tonight!!

It's a overcast New Years Eve morning here on the Key. But we are still getting ready for a big celebration to ring in the new year. What are your plans to celebrate tonight?

The Sarasota Board of County Commissioners has added the Lido Beach Renourishment/Big Pass Project to their agenda, which is reported to be scheduled in January or early February 2014.

With more meetings, and of course debates ahead, this is no doubt a hot topic for Sarasota in 2014!!
