Lots on the mind today. Another March 13th upon us. Tragically losing a brother and sister together pretty much sucks. So here's my tribute to them and their two friends that became our Guardian Angels that early morning, six years ago today.

For most of us the pain lessens, and Fortunately, the memories of loved ones lost still remain.
That's what keeps us going each day, the memories, But, for some, a lesson, just the same.

A lesson that each day is a blessing and to live it to its fullest.
That lesson I wish for each of you to take to heart and do it to your best.

For life is not to be taken for granted, the next day is always a gift.
To cherish the time you have with your loved ones and watch your spirits lift.

So here's to the memories, and to the lesson, that will keep us going strong.
To Sean and Jessica, Andrew and Kelly, Know you are loved and thought of all year long.

A memory that I wish hadn't occurred, but here's my tribute done in the best way I know how.......

It's hard to fathom, and hard to believe,
That 5 years have passed and, yet, we still grieve.

That day, and for two straight weeks, I kept staring in disbelief at that wall.
It was hard to wrap my head around losing two siblings at once, not easy, not at all.

But, we keep your wonderful memories alive in our thoughts and in our hearts.
We try to live each day to the fullest like you did, each day a new start.

It has gotten easier and easier each year; the sadness does go away.
For pictures, songs and memories help keep you alive, in our own way.

So, as time goes by, please know that everyone misses and loves you still.
We know that you're around as our guardian angels and always will.

Their garden mostly survived the storms in Sarasota last night.... Just a little debris and blown over. One huge tree didn't make it though. Praying all those affected by storm will be ok.
