If you are new to following Jackson’s Gift, Inc. Nonprofit, please take a moment to learn about our mission and help us find our first Jackson’s Gift Award recipient.
Jackson’s desire to advocate for youth aging out of foster care only intensified after he became a Marine. He wanted to be there for those who traveled a similar path as him and help them navigate joining the military, as many aging out choose this path.
He understood that teens aging out of foster care need someone in their corner, a family to write home to.

As we head into Memorial Day weekend, let me encourage you to pause, and remember the gift of our freedom. Remembering those who sacrificed ALL for our safety and freedom. 🇺🇸
Memorial Day hits a little harder for our family these days. It reminds me to never take our loved ones for granted and to especially appreciate being an American.

It’s graduation season! 👨🎓
This picture was taken in May 2021. Just two months prior to this event, Jackson was officially adopted into our family. He was so proud to graduate with his forever family’s last name.
Then, just two months after this event, off he went to fulfill his dream of becoming a Marine. Two of Jackson’s goals had come to fruition. Another dream of his was to support youth in foster care and advocate for those aging out of the system.
Jackson’s life on this earth ended before he could see that happen.
Jackson’s Gift Nonprofit is here to fulfill Jackson’s dream of supporting foster youth. Help us keep his legacy alive.

For those in the foster care system, there are many things coming at them at once. Some have spent much of their childhood in the system. Jackson’s story is very similar to so many. He had a strong desire to give back to those in the foster system.
Help us keep his legacy alive. Support someone in in the trenches of foster care.

It was just two months before Jackson left on his quest to become a Marine. So much has happened since this picture was taken. The highs, the lows, the tragic loss of Jackson, and the beautiful new life of our granddaughters. I am reminded of how fragile life really is and that being surrounded by family and friends is God’s special gift to help us through it all.
Jackson adored his family. (Just look at that proud look on his face.)
Let’s all be reminded on this Mother’s Day weekend, to cherish every moment- in true Jackson fashion. 💙 🕊️
