The SIDC is a local, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that promotes the value of diversity in Savannah and supports efforts to increase inclusion.

The Savannah Interagency Diversity Council, founded in 2013, includes representatives from over forty federal, state and local government agencies, as well as, local non-profit organizations and private companies. SIDC members meet monthly to plan projects that strive to enhance appreciation of social diversity in Savannah and promote understanding, tolerance and inclusion of all Savannah area residents.

It’s a wrap! The 10th Annual Human Trafficking Awareness Conference first day was commenced with Law Enforcement Training and Job Fair. The Savannah Police Department, Tybee Island Police Department, East Brunswick Police Departmentenforcement officials, detectives, and workforce development professionals from all over and around Coastal region convened to enhance their knowledge and skills in serving, protecting, and defending against human trafficking. Day 2 was dedicated to open assembly with all our businesses, community leaders, families and general public. Many thanks to our event MC Diane Morrell McLeod. Special appreciation to the many subject matter expert speakers, survivor courageous testimony. Many thanks to all our sponsors, dedicated vendors and SIDC members, The United States Department of Justice, City of Savannah Government, SWAHT Savannah Working Against Human Trafficking, Savannah State University, WTOC Dawn Baker and all participating speakers, event organizers, participants, volunteers and business sponsors.
