It’s amazing to live in a community filled with so many phenomenal people who dedicate themselves to serving others. This week, we celebrate Dalida Walton and her well-deserved recognition through Chop Out Hunger’s Feeding the Future celebration. Congratulations, Dalida, and thank you for your incredible commitment to our community! 👏❤️

Chop Out Hunger does extraordinary work supporting children and fighting hunger here at home and in communities across the Commonwealth. That work deserves our recognition and continued support.

I hope you’ll join me in celebrating this incredible honoree and supporting Chop Out Hunger today, tomorrow, and in the years ahead. Their mission matters, their impact matters, and the people making it happen deserve to be celebrated.

Never in a million years did I imagine returning to the library where I grew up checking out books—returning plenty late and possibly kept a couple—to see my own books there! 😂📚

Sharing Tyler’s story where so much of it began was a full-circle moment. Thank you, Summit Library, for welcoming me home, and my dear friend Craig Finnegan for making it possible. Grateful beyond words. ❤️

🏡📚 Summit, I’m coming home with a story to share—and a heart full of gratitude!

This Saturday, I’ll be at Summit Public Library with Tyler the Unbreakable Kid, returning to a place that was part of my own childhood.

Years ago, I spent so much time in that library. Today, it carries my book. Now I get to return and read to children, sharing a story inspired by the little boy I once was. That’s a full-circle moment I’ll never forget. ❤️

Some children are already signed up, and I can’t wait to meet them! But you don’t have to be a kid to stop by. Bring your family, come say hello, or spend a little time catching up. If we grew up together, seeing you again would make this day even more special.

Thank you to the Summit Public Library team for opening your doors and welcoming my story home. Craig, thank you for helping make this possible. This opportunity means so much to me.

The town that helped shape my life now gets to meet the character whose story grew from it. My hope is that every child leaves knowing that kindness matters, hope is powerful, and difficult beginnings don’t have to define their future.

Summit, I’m looking forward to familiar faces, new friendships, and a few good hugs. See you Saturday! 🏡❤️📚

Our nation cannot thank you enough for your sacrifice. Through long months away from home, you served with dedication while your families counted the days until your return.

Today, we celebrate you—and the spouses, children, parents, and loved ones finally welcoming you into their arms.

May the days ahead bring rest, laughter, and time together. Thank you for your service. We are so glad you’re home! ❤️
