With four boys in Seattle Public Schools, I know firsthand how important a strong education system is. The Millionares tax will help fund public education and special education because Washington has a paramount duty to serve every student.

I joined Rep. Macri and other state leaders at the rededication of the UW Behavioral Health and Learning Center for my mentor, Speaker Frank Chopp. I am glad that this incredible space for high quality care will serve Washingtonians across the state and look forward to making further progress on behavioral health treatment in our state.
