“I have been working at the Bellevue and Kirkland Hopelink over the past month, working Fridays at Kirkland alongside Olivia and the rest of the week in Bellevue. In Kirkland, I help on the food packing line, packing set amounts of food into boxes to later be sent to the other various food pantries for distribution. In Bellevue, I help prepare and run the food packaging line. This includes pre-packing additional items, keeping inventory of food items, re-sorting returned items, helping take client orders, and preparing the shopping carts for distribution. I enjoy the diversity of work required for my job and feel I have gotten to see some of the community needs, especially during this pandemic.” -- Jeremy, Summer 2020 HungerCorps Associate
