A painful emotional expression on my turmoil with AI art and how it’s been affecting my life directly. If you disagree please refrain , this is my expression. You have no right to take my personal emotional expression and diminish it to how cool you think AI generated art is.
Just as how you may think of the ethics of how your clothes and food are made. Now I implore you to think how your Art is made.

AI is only capable of what it can make bc it has been trained by humans with stolen artwork and creativity. A database of creativity pulled from an outrageous data pool (internet)and separated by prompts and keywords.

AI can not feel, it only knows what something is bc it was told what it is. There is not suffering or emotional turmoil, any undeniable love or overwhelming feeling. AI only reacts /acts the way it does bc it has been trained to do so. Creation with no substance.

The lengths and depths humans go through to reach down within their personal experiences and emotional battles or the igniting of passion , comes deep within their soul. AI has no soul, humans will create beyond what they are told to create. Why are we trying to defeat or make it mundane to express the very root of humankind, the human expression.

For me who is deeply rooted in my creations, I cannot fathom why AI is being given this authority, this definition of craftsmanship. The key word in this word is man, which is a person.

Which pains me to see so many artists losing their jobs because a robot was fed their creations and only creates what it does bc it was trained to create in their image.

If you don’t know the emotional pain and suffering your artists friends and family are going through right now , then this is why. Bc their meaning of existence, their outlet , their creations , are all being diminished or undermined or dismissed all because the training of AI on their creations birthed from their expression and deliverers into this world with their own creativity and own hands that they’ve worked on possibly from the day they became conscious, literally their whole existence.
