Firefighter/EMT Instructor Opportunity – King County

FITE Fire & EMS is looking for Firefighter I / EMTs to help teach high school Fire & EMS career pathway classes for juniors and seniors.

Instructors teach a mix of classroom instruction and hands-on drills while mentoring students interested in careers in the fire service.

Schedule:
• 4–8 days per month
• Two 2.5-hour sessions per day
• Schedule published 3 months in advance

Pay: $40/hour
Benefits: Retirement plan with employer matching

We’re looking for firefighters who are passionate about mentoring the next generation.

Happy National First Responders Day! We are so grateful we get to train and educate the upcoming generation of first responders. Thank you to our fellow firefighters, law enforcement, EMTs, dispatchers and countless others who dedicate their lives to serving others!

Yesterday was our first drill day of the year at the Joint Training Facility (JTF) in Seattle! Thank you to DC Jon Goins and for allowing us to come and experience a taste of real-life training outside of the classroom 🔥💪

Today we honor everyone who responded and lost their lives 24 years ago. 9/11 has forever shaped the way we train, teach, and serve. We will continue to remember and honor the bravery, resilience and unwavering courage and commitment to protect others.

Our new Seattle classroom is ready for school to start this week! We can’t wait to see our new & returning FITErs and get started on another great year!

So much to celebrate this week! Please join us in recognizing the students for their year of accomplishments and also to award scholarships and peer awards. Refreshments will be served afterwards.

All celebrations will be held at 6:00pm.
